The first experiences on snow are very important for learning to ski. For your child, choose an approach that combines progress, listening, and fun.

The ESi ski schools place these priorities at the heart of their children's courses. Discover how their teams support young skiers, from their first slides to more technical descents.

In a small group, the instructor can observe each child and adjust their advice. They can then spot difficulties and highlight successes during the session.

Furthermore, children learn to get to know each other and share their discoveries. This closeness fosters exchanges and helps everyone participate.

The number of participants varies depending on the ESi school, the age of the participants, and the chosen format. Before booking, check the maximum number of students announced for your course.

This format facilitates, among other things:

Some children discover skiing, while others want to improve their turns. The instructor takes their experience into account to propose accessible exercises.

Throughout the sessions, he adjusts the instructions according to the group's progress. He also accompanies each student with concrete explanations and encouragement.

Your child thus progresses step by step and better understands the movements they are working on. They gradually learn to control their speed, change direction and use suitable lifts.

This support is based on:

Furthermore, the instructor values effort as much as results. This attention helps the child gain confidence without rushing their learning.

The ESi instructors use their technical and pedagogical skills to guide the young skiers. They explain the movements using simple words and show the movements to be reproduced.

Before each exercise, they choose a terrain corresponding to the level of the group. They also adapt the session to the snow conditions, the weather, and the children's fatigue.

In parallel, they teach the essential rules for progressing on the slopes. The students learn, among other things, to respect the other skiers and the instructions of the instructor.

Their role consists of:

Finally, exchange with the team to prepare for your child’s arrival. Specify their experience and report any useful information for their care.

For children, an exercise often becomes more accessible when it takes the form of a game. Instructors therefore use adapted courses and challenges to work on skiing techniques.

Following a path, bypassing a landmark, or stopping in a specific area becomes a concrete goal. The child then experiences new sensations while developing their skills.

Furthermore, the shared successes nurture the group’s motivation. Each session offers the opportunity to discover the mountains and to gain in autonomy.

This approach encourages:
