Discover the ancestor of skiing and explore new sensations.
The technique of telemark differs from alpine skiing in its free heel and the lunge position specific to this discipline. This changes the way you distribute your weight, find your balance and steer your skis. The first steps therefore let you get used to the equipment and gradually get to grips with these new sensations.
The instructor then guides you through learning the movements needed to perform and link your turns in telemark skiing. The exercises evolve according to your level of proficiency to work on the precision of your support, coordination, and relaxation. This will gradually develop a smoother glide and greater confidence in your movements.
Les telemark course are aimed both at people discovering the discipline and at skiers wanting to deepen their practice. Beginners learn the essential movements and gradually find their bearings, while more experienced skiers can refine their movements and develop their control on varied terrain.
ESI instructors adjust their teaching according to your level and your progress. Body position, support quality, balance or skiing technique: each element can be observed and worked on through targeted exercises. The content of the sessions therefore evolves as you progress and as you achieve the goals you set.
