An intimate and mysterious moment on the slopes of the village of St-Cergue. And why not end it all together around a friendly Swiss fondue?
The torchlight descent is one of the emblematic events of a stay in the mountains. When night falls, participants set off together on the slopes in a special atmosphere, set to the rhythm of the torches and the resort lights.
This tradition allows us to rediscover the ski area by night and to share a convivial moment in a wintery setting. Depending on the events and access conditions, young and old alike can enjoy this activity that combines skiing, entertainment and the pleasure of being together in the mountains.

Verbier
ESi Adrénaline VerbierFor groups, we organise torchlight descents on skis or snowshoes for unusual and memorable evenings.
Depending on the resort, some ESI schools offer descents with torches during the winter season. Supervised by instructors, skiers follow a route together, selected according to the current conditions and the level required to take part.
A certain level of ease on skis is generally recommended to fully enjoy the experience. Once night has fallen, the torchlight transforms the atmosphere on the slopes and offers an original way to discover the mountains in the evening, combining skiing and shared moments.
The torchlight descent is also an opportunity to share a special moment outside of ski lessons. Depending on the ESI schools and the resort's programme, the evening may continue with a friendly drink with the instructors and the other participants.
With family or friends, this event is a chance to get together, chat with the ESI team and enjoy the resort atmosphere in a different way. A warm experience that leaves a beautiful memory of your holiday in the mountains.
